How the Integration Works

Once connected, the UKG Pro and Expiration Reminder integration offers several powerful features:

  1. Employee Syncing - Employees in UKG Pro are automatically synced to Expiration Reminder as contacts. - This includes key details such as:
    • Employee name
    • Email address
    • Mobile phone number
    • Job title
    • Department and manager
    • Any updates made in UKG Pro will reflect in Expiration Reminder automatically on the next sync.
  2. Automatic Archiving for Terminated Employees - If an employee is marked as terminated in UKG Pro, they will be automatically archived in Expiration Reminder. - This ensures no notifications are sent to inactive employees, while their document history is kept for audits.
  3. Streamlined Notifications - Once synced, you can assign credentials, licenses, or training with expiration dates to employees in Expiration Reminder. - Expiration Reminder will automatically notify employees when documents or certifications are nearing their due dates, ensuring timely renewals.

Connecting UKG Pro to Expiration Reminder

  1. Access the Integration Settings - Log in to your Expiration Reminder account. - Navigate to the workspace settings menu where your name is listed in the top-left corner. - Click on Integrations to view the list of available integrations.
  2. Select UKG Pro - Scroll down to the HRIS Integrations section and select UKG Pro.
  3. Enter Your Credentials - Confirm that you are an admin when prompted. - A connection window will open where you'll provide your UKG Pro account details.
  4. Authorize Access - Follow the prompts to authorize Expiration Reminder to read employee data from UKG Pro. - Review the information that will be shared between the two applications and approve the connection.
  5. Finalize the Connection - Once authorized, the system will configure the connection and run the first employee sync. - Click Finish to complete the setup.

Configuration Options

After setting up the integration, you can manage settings under the Configure button:

  • Enable or disable employee syncing as needed.
  • Trigger a manual sync at any time if you need an immediate update.
  • Update settings to match your organization's workflow.
