Keap Integration

This guide explains how to connect Keap to Expiration Reminder so your contacts and accounts sync automatically and you can track every license, certification, and document expiration tied to them.

What this integration does

The Keap integration imports your contacts and accounts into Expiration Reminder. You can then attach documents and expiration dates to each record and let Expiration Reminder send automated renewal reminders.

Prerequisites
  • An active Expiration Reminder account with permission to manage integrations.
  • A Keap account with administrator access to authorize the connection.
  • Sufficient Keap permissions to read contacts and accounts.
How to connect Keap
  1. In Expiration Reminder, go to Settings → Integrations.
  2. Find Keap in the integration catalog and click Connect.
  3. You will be redirected to a secure authorization screen. Sign in to Keap and approve the requested read access.
  4. Once authorized, you are returned to Expiration Reminder and the initial sync begins.
  5. When the sync finishes, your Keap contacts and accounts appear in Expiration Reminder, ready for you to add documents and expiration dates.
What syncs
  • Contacts and accounts/companies from Keap are imported into Expiration Reminder.
  • The sync refreshes regularly so new and updated records stay current.
  • Documents, expiration dates, and reminder schedules are managed inside Expiration Reminder and are not written back to Keap.
Troubleshooting
  • Records aren't appearing: Confirm the connecting Keap user can read contacts and accounts, then trigger a manual sync from the integration settings.
  • Connection failed or expired: Reauthorize the integration from Settings → Integrations. This is usually caused by a changed password or revoked access in Keap.
  • Missing or duplicate contacts: Allow the first full sync to complete; large Keap accounts can take a few minutes.
Frequently asked questions

Does this change my data in Keap? No. Expiration Reminder reads your contacts and accounts; it does not modify your Keap data.

How often does it sync? The integration syncs automatically on a regular schedule, and you can run a manual sync anytime.
