How the integration works

Once connected, the Gusto and Expiration Reminder integration automatically syncs employee data, archives terminated employees, and sends expiration notifications. Key features include:

Employee syncing

Employees in Gusto are automatically synced to Expiration Reminder as contacts. This includes key details such as:

  • Employee name
  • Email address
  • Mobile phone number
  • Job title

Any updates made in Gusto will reflect in Expiration Reminder automatically, ensuring your employee records are always accurate.

Automatic archiving for terminated employees

If an employee is marked as terminated in Gusto, they will be automatically archived in Expiration Reminder. This prevents any notifications from being sent to inactive employees.

Streamlined notifications

Once synced, you can assign credentials, licenses, or training with expiration dates to employees in Expiration Reminder. The system will automatically notify employees when documents or certifications are approaching their expiration dates, ensuring timely renewals and action.
