Gladly Integration
The Gladly integration connects your Expiration Reminder account to Gladly so that upcoming expiration deadlines can be turned into Gladly conversations automatically. Renewals appear in the workspace your team already uses, alongside the rest of your work.
Before you begin
Make sure you have the following ready:
- An active Expiration Reminder account with permission to manage integrations.
- A Gladly account with permission to authorize third-party access.
- The documents, licenses, or certifications you want to monitor already added in Expiration Reminder, each with an expiration date.
How to set up the Gladly integration
- Sign in to your Expiration Reminder account.
- Go to Settings > Integrations.
- Find Gladly in the list of available integrations and click Connect.
- In the authorization window, sign in with your Gladly credentials and approve the requested access.
- Choose which record categories should trigger conversations and how many days before expiration each conversation should be created.
- Save your settings. Expiration Reminder will now begin monitoring your selected records and creating conversations in Gladly at the configured lead time.
What syncs and what triggers a conversation
After setup, Expiration Reminder monitors the expiration dates of the records you selected. When a record reaches the lead time you configured, the integration automatically creates a conversation in Gladly containing the item name and expiration date, giving your team the context they need to act.
You control which record categories trigger conversations and how far in advance they are created, keeping your workspace focused and free of noise.
Managing renewal conversations in Gladly
Renewal conversations behave like any other Gladly conversation. You can assign owners, set due dates, track progress, add notes, and close them once the renewal is complete. Your team manages renewals using the Gladly workflow they already know.
Troubleshooting
- Conversations aren't being created. Confirm the integration shows as connected in Settings > Integrations, and that the records you expect have a valid expiration date within your configured lead time.
- The connection failed during setup. Make sure you approved the requested Gladly permissions, then try connecting again.
- The connection stopped working. If your Gladly credentials or permissions changed, reconnect the integration to refresh authorization. To reconnect, go to Settings > Integrations, find Gladly, and click Reconnect.
Frequently asked questions
Will this create duplicates? No. Each monitored record creates a conversation once as it approaches its configured lead time.
Can I choose which records create conversations? Yes. You decide which categories of records are included and how far in advance.
Is there an extra cost? The Gladly integration is included on all Expiration Reminder plans at no additional cost. A separate, active Gladly account is required.
