How the Integration Works
Once connected, the Factorial and Expiration Reminder integration offers several powerful features:
- Employee Syncing
- Employees in Factorial are automatically synced to Expiration Reminder as contacts.
- This includes key details such as:
- Employee name
- Email address
- Mobile phone number
- Job title
- Department
- Location
- Any updates made in Factorial will reflect in Expiration Reminder automatically.
- Automatic Archiving for Terminated Employees
- If an employee is marked as terminated in Factorial, they will be automatically archived in Expiration Reminder.
- This ensures no notifications are sent to inactive employees.
- Streamlined Notifications
- Once synced, you can assign credentials, licenses, or training with expiration dates to employees in Expiration Reminder.
- Expiration Reminder will automatically notify employees when documents or certifications are nearing expiration.
Connecting Factorial to Expiration Reminder
- Access the Integration Settings
- Log in to your Expiration Reminder account.
- Navigate to the menu where your name is listed in the top-right corner.
- Click on Settings to view the list of available integrations.
- Click on Integrations.
- Select Factorial
- Scroll down to the HRIS Integrations section and select Factorial.
- Enter Your Credentials
- Confirm that you are an admin when prompted.
- A new window will open where you'll log in to Factorial.
- Authorize Access
- After logging in, Factorial will ask you to authorize access for Expiration Reminder.
- Review the information that will be shared between the two applications.
- Click Allow Access to proceed.
- Finalize the Connection
- Once authorized, the system will configure the connection.
- Click Finish to complete the setup.
Configuration Options
After setting up the integration, you can manage settings under the Configure button:
- Enable or disable employee syncing as needed.
- Update settings to match your organization's workflow.
