Breezy Integration

This guide explains how to connect Breezy to Expiration Reminder so your candidates and new hires sync automatically and you can track every license, certification, and document expiration tied to them.

What this integration does

The Breezy integration syncs your candidates and new hires from Breezy into Expiration Reminder, where you can attach documents, set expiration dates, and automatically send renewal reminders before credentials lapse.

Prerequisites

  • An active Expiration Reminder account with permission to manage integrations.
  • A Breezy account with administrator access to authorize the connection.
  • Sufficient Breezy permissions to read candidates, applications, and jobs.

How to connect Breezy

  1. In Expiration Reminder, go to Settings → Integrations.
  2. Find Breezy in the integration catalog and click Connect.
  3. A secure Breezy authorization screen opens. Sign in with your Breezy administrator account and approve the requested read access.
  4. Once authorized, Expiration Reminder redirects you back and starts the initial sync automatically.
  5. When the sync finishes, your Breezy candidates and new hires appear in Expiration Reminder, ready for you to add documents and expiration dates.

What syncs

  • Candidates and new hires from Breezy are imported into Expiration Reminder.
  • The sync runs on an automatic schedule so new and updated Breezy records stay current in Expiration Reminder.
  • Documents, expiration dates, and reminder schedules are managed exclusively in Expiration Reminder and are never written back to Breezy.

Troubleshooting

  • Records aren't appearing: Confirm the connecting Breezy user can read candidates and applications, then trigger a manual sync from the integration settings.
  • Connection failed or expired: Reauthorize the integration from Settings → Integrations. This is usually caused by changed credentials or revoked access in Breezy.
  • Missing records after the initial sync: Wait for the first full sync to finish — large Breezy accounts can take several minutes. If records are still missing afterward, contact Expiration Reminder support.

Does this change my data in Breezy? No. Expiration Reminder reads your candidates and new hires; it does not modify your Breezy data.

How often does the Breezy integration sync? The integration syncs automatically on a regular schedule. You can also trigger a manual sync at any time from Settings → Integrations.
