Find out how to integrate Xero with Expiration Reminder

​Integrating Xero with Expiration Reminder enables seamless synchronization of your accounting data, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. This integration allows for efficient management of financial information and enhances compliance tracking.

Things to know before you begin

Prerequisites:

  • Ensure that your Xero account is not already connected via another integration platform, as Xero allows only one active connection per tenant.​
  • If an existing connection exists, disconnect it within your Xero account before proceeding.

Setting up the Xero integration

  1. Initiate the Connection:

    • Within Expiration Reminder, navigate to the integrations section.​
    • Select Xero from the list of available integrations.​
    • Click "Connect" to begin the linking process.​
  2. Authenticate with Xero:

    • A Xero window will appear taking you through the permissions notices. Review these windows before being taken to a credentials window.
    • Enter your Xero email and password to sign in.​

    • If you have multiple organizations in Xero, select the one you wish to connect to Expiration Reminder.​
    • Click "Continue" to proceed.​
  3. Authorize Access:

    • Review the permissions that Expiration Reminder is requesting.​
    • Click "Allow access" to grant the necessary permissions.​
  4. Complete the Integration:

    • After authorization, the window will close, and you'll be redirected back to Expiration Reminder.​
    • A success message will confirm that your Xero account is now linked.
