How the Integration Works

Once connected, the BambooHR and Expiration Reminder integration offers several powerful features:

  1. Employee Syncing

    • Employees in BambooHR are automatically synced to Expiration Reminder as contacts.
    • This includes key details such as:
      • Employee name
      • Email address
      • Mobile phone number
      • Job title
    • Any updates made in BambooHR will reflect in Expiration Reminder automatically.
  2. Automatic Archiving for Terminated Employees

    • If an employee is marked as terminated in BambooHR, they will be automatically archived in Expiration Reminder.
    • This ensures no notifications are sent to inactive employees.
  3. Streamlined Notifications

    • Once synced, you can assign credentials, licenses, or training with expiration dates to employees in Expiration Reminder.
    • Expiration Reminder will automatically notify employees when documents or certifications are nearing their due dates, ensuring timely updates.

Connecting BambooHR to Expiration Reminder

  1. Access the Integration Settings2025-01-13integrations

    • Log in to your Expiration Reminder account.
    • Navigate to the Settings menu where your name is listed in the top-right corner.
    • Click on Integrations to view the list of available integrations.
  2. Select BambooHR

    • Scroll down to the HRS Integrations section and select BambooHR.

  3. Enter Your Credentials

    • Confirm that you are an admin when prompted.
    • Enter the domain associated with your BambooHR account.
    • A new window will open where you’ll log in to BambooHR.
  4. Authorize Access

    • After logging in, BambooHR will ask you to authorize access for Expiration Reminder.
    • Review the information that will be shared between the two applications.
    • Click Allow Access to proceed.

5. Finalize the Connection

    • Once authorized, the system will configure the connection.
    • Click Finish to complete the setup.

After setting up the integration, you can manage settings under the Configure button:

  • Enable or disable employee syncing as needed.
  • Update settings to match your organization’s workflow.
